Military time (24-hour clock) expresses time from 0000 (midnight) to 2359 (11:59 PM) without AM/PM. It eliminates ambiguity and is used worldwide in aviation, medicine, military operations, and most countries' daily life.

Trin-for-trin guide

1. 1Hours 00–12: same as 12-hour AM (0000 = midnight, 1200 = noon)
2. 2Hours 13–23: add 12 to AM equivalent (1300 = 1 PM, 1800 = 6 PM)
3. 312-hour to 24-hour: if PM, add 12 to hours (except 12 PM = 1200); if AM and 12, use 0000
4. 4No colon needed in military: "1430 hours" = 2:30 PM
