A door size calculator determines rough opening dimensions, jamb sizes, and trim requirements for interior and exterior doors. Standard interior doors are 80×32 inches; exterior doors are typically 80×36 inches. Rough openings should be 2 inches wider and 2.5 inches taller than the door size.
