Angular momentum measures rotational motion analogous to linear momentum. It's conserved in closed systems and calculated as the product of moment of inertia and angular velocity.

Fórmula

L = I × ω where I is moment of inertia and ω is angular velocity

Guía paso a paso

  1. 1Enter moment of inertia I or calculate from mass/radius
  2. 2Enter angular velocity ω
  3. 3Multiply to get angular momentum

Ejemplos resueltos

Entrada
I = 5 kg·m², ω = 3 rad/s
Resultado
L = 15 kg·m²/s

Errores comunes a evitar

  • Confusing with linear momentum
  • Wrong units for angular velocity
