A brick calculator estimates the number of bricks needed for a wall or building project based on wall dimensions and the chosen bond pattern. Standard UK bricks (215×102.5×65mm) are the most common reference.

Guide étape par étape

  1. 1Measure wall length, height, and chosen thickness (half-brick, one-brick, etc.)
  2. 2Standard UK metric: approximately 60 bricks per m² for single-leaf walls in stretcher bond
  3. 3Add 5–10% for cuts and breakage
  4. 4Add mortar: approximately 1 bag of mortar per 70 bricks
