The Medication Unit Converter translates pharmaceutical doses between mg, mcg (μg), mL/cc, IU (International Units), and grain (gr) — the units most often encountered on prescription labels and during caregiver dose calculations. Most conversions are deterministic (1 mg = 1000 mcg, 1 mL = 1 cc, 1 grain = 64.8 mg). IU conversions are drug-specific and the calculator provides reference factors for vitamins A, D, and E.
