A garden watering calculator estimates how much water plants need based on pot size, plant type, and weather. Overwatering is as damaging as underwatering for most plants.

- 2Outdoor beds: ~20–25mm per week in dry weather
- 3Rain gauge: 1mm rainfall = 1 L/m² of garden
- 4Finger test: soil dry 2–5cm deep → time to water (most plants)
