A barometric pressure altitude calculator converts between atmospheric pressure readings and altitude, or corrects pressure readings to sea-level equivalent for weather comparison. Pressure decreases by roughly 1.2 mb for every 10 meters of altitude; altimeters use this relationship to indicate elevation in aircraft.
