After using the full 90-day allowance in one continuous stay, the traveler has zero remaining days and cannot re-enter the Schengen zone until older days fall outside the 180-day window. Most January/February days have rolled off after 95 days away
By July 1, the 180-day window looks back to January 3. Days from January 1-2 have already fallen outside the window. More importantly, during the 95 days spent outside the Schengen zone, many of the earlier stay days have expired.
