Small breeds: 9–12 months. Medium: 12–15 months. Large: 18–24 months. Skeleton plates close later in giant breeds. Weight gain after 12 months usually fat, not muscle.

Small breeds: 3–4x daily until 6 months. Medium: 3x until 6 months, then 2x. Large: 2–3x until 4–6 months (split meals reduces bloat risk). Follow puppy food label by weight.
