Child Support (Simplified)
A child support estimator calculates guideline support amounts based on parental income, custody arrangements, and the applicable state formula. Most states use either the income shares model or the percentage of income model. Income shares allocates support proportionally to parental income; federal law requires all states to have guidelines.
