🌬️Wind Chill Calculator

Must be ≤ 10°C / 50°F

Must be > 4.8 km/h

Wind chill is the perceived decrease in temperature felt by exposed skin due to airflow. Wind increases the rate of heat loss by continuously replacing the layer of warm air near the skin with cooler ambient air. The Environment Canada / NWS formula (2001) uses wind speed and air temperature to calculate the apparent feels-like temperature. It applies when the actual temperature is ≤ 10°C and wind speed > 4.8 km/h.
